Logo design for architectural practice

An elegant logo and corporate identity design

THE OBJECTIVE – SISCO Architecture approached CATALYST for a new logo and corporate identity with the brief that it had to reflect their philosophy of “simple, uncomplicated architecture”.

A ‘modernist’ logo design solution

THE OUTCOME – The adaptable logo design utilises a scale rule motif that gives the identity an instant association to architectural design and drawing.

The typography is sharp and easily readable. The font used – Futura –  avoids the decorative, eliminating nonessential elements, but makes subtle departures from pure geometric designs that allow the letterforms to seem balanced – very much in keeping with the ethos of the company.

The logo ‘system’ offers several layouts – vertical, horizontal, ranged left or right and as separated elements – all helping to allow the corporate identity to work strongly across todays multitude of corporate branding applications.

Print design and production services

Once the corporate identity was in place CATALYST then went on to design and produce a number of flyers for SISCO Architects promoting different aspects of the practice. CATALYST were able to provide in-house illustration services as well as providing a competitive print solution.
