THE OBJECTIVE – To bring the various company locations and range of bulk handling products and services together under one name Spirotech Group Ltd. Spirotech’s previous logo was portrayed as Spirotech-SRD (from a merger formed some years ago) and due to further expansion encompassing various locations, the sensible requirement was for the company to be known as Spirotech Group Ltd. The old logo was in need of a modern refresh and It was time for a new motivational image.
THE OUTCOME – The energetic logo design picks up on the previous colour scheme as a nod to the company history along with a modern take on the old image of a globe. However the multi-faceted icon design merges that global image with that of a spiralling line that conveys movement, speed and an abstract depiction of the screw conveyors that are a key item in the Spirotech Group product offering.
The typography is clean, sharp and easily readable – the case has been changed to upper and lower away from all capitals to give the company a friendlier feel whilst still presenting a serious and authoritative face. The logo ‘system’ offers several layouts – vertical, horizontal, ranged left or right and as separated elements – all helping to allow the corporate identity to work strongly across todays multitude of corporate branding applications.
THE SERVICE – CATALYST has maintained the Spirotech Group website for a number of years and due to the ongoing search engine optimisation (SEO) work undertaken are very proud to have garnered numerous initial contacts that have resulted in multi-million pound contracts for the company.
