Corporate ID Services: Branding, logo design, corporate guidelines
Your corporate identity is working for your business at all times — every time it is seen, everywhere it is seen. It’s important that the perception is right. We work with clients from initial branding exercises, to help decide on a company name and positioning, through to fine tweaking an existing logo for a more up to date image.
Professional graphic designers make your budget work harder by maintaining consistency across the whole range of marketing collateral that’s produced — thus ensuring that the quality of your image doesn’t waver. We produce corporate identity guidelines from a simple A4 sheet to detailed booklets to ensure consistency of use throughout your company’s offices.

Design Services: Brochure design, direct mail, advertising, exhibitions
Ads, brochures, newsletters, exhibitions...
Most businesses will employ a mixture of methods to reach their markets. The method will depend on the product/service on offer and the target market. So it’s obviously good sense to ask a few what, whys and hows in relation to your aims, target audience, budget and timescales before deciding on the best route. It doesn’t have to take weeks — we have briefing forms which help focus attention on what the crucial issues are — but it is time well spent.
New Media Services: Websites, e-mail newsletters, banner ads, e-brochures

When constructing websites we adhere to the very strict standards laid down by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), namely XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS 2.0. This compliance provides the following additional benefits to you and your website users:
• XHTML websites are more ‘search engine friendly’ as web pages contain less code and the content sits higher on the page
• because of the way the site is coded, content changes and website updating prove faster and therefore less expensive for you in the longer term
• as the pages created using XHTML contain less code, your website will load faster for your visitors, leaving them with a feeling that they are browsing a high quality website.
If you have your own in-house programmers, we are happy to work alongside them supplying professional designs, which we can provide as a kit of parts.
There are 3 options for managing the content of your website:
1. Maintenance by Catalyst
Catalyst can make changes and updates to your web site on a basis that suits your requirements. This can be monthly, or on an ad-hoc basis when you need to and will be charged on an hourly rate. This is often the simplest and easiest solution for businesses whose site does not change a great deal.
2. Custom Built Content Management System
For ecommerce sites and business sites that require regular changes and updates, Catalyst collaborate with Microsoft Certified Professional, Nigel White to design and build a database driven, content management system, which subsequently allows you to log in and change the text, images, product prices on your site.
3. Adobe Contribute
An alternative way for non-technical users to update web content is by the use of Adobe Contribute. Catalyst can provide training to get you going and it is the easiest way for individuals and teams to update, create, and publish web content to any HTML website. If you are familiar with a word processor package such as 'Word' you will find Contribute extremely straightforward and new users can immediately update text and images, publish new content and create and link new pages and documents to any existing HTML website following step-by-step instructions. Adobe Contribute ensures that new content not only matches the look and feel of your site, but also meets standards for cross-browser compatibility. In addition, optional accessibility settings help make sure your site complies with Section 508 so that people with disabilities can have full access to your content.
E-brochures are a conversion of traditional media elements into optimised PDF documents, that display full screen containing interactive 'index' menus for navigation and interaction. Then rich media, such as video, slideshows, MP3 audio and Flash can be embedded into the final PDF document.
